6 cans chopped clams in clam juice
1 8oz bottle clam juice
2 cups chopped onion
2 cups chopped celery
1 1/2 Tablespoon minced garlic
6 slices bacon
2 pounds potatoes cut into bite size pieces
1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper

Cook bacon in medium pot. Remove cooked bacon. Crumble and set aside.

Add onions, celery and garlic to pot. Cook until tender. Add clam juice from cans and the bottle to the pot (about 3 cups). Add potatoes and Italian seasoning. Cook until potatoes are tender. Add clams. Salt and pepper to taste. Serve topped with crumbled bacon.
